Japanzon is a real shop in Asakusa, Tokyo, run by a Frenchman who moved here for Japanese toys and games and never left. We sell Japanese toys, retro games, figures, plush toys, models and trading cards — new and second-hand, side by side, the way a Japanese hobby shop actually looks.
Getting here
Four minutes on foot from Kaminarimon — about 280 metres along Orange Street, flat all the way, right opposite Asakusa Public Hall. Four minutes from Asakusa station. Open every day: 10:00-17:00, and from 12:00 on Wednesdays and Sundays.
We speak your language
Our staff speak Japanese, English and French. On Wednesdays and Sundays we can also help you in Chinese and Spanish. Ask us anything — about a console region, a card, or what a figure actually is.

Retro games for Famicom, Super Famicom, PlayStation and Nintendo 64, as well as modern console games. Figures, including Nendoroid, POP UP PARADE, scale and prize figures. Plush toys such as Pokemon, Sanrio and Sumikkogurashi. Plastic models, from Gundam to scale kits. Trading cards. Character goods, stationery and kitchenware. Comics, books, CDs and DVDs.

Second-hand condition grades
Every second-hand item is checked by hand and graded. The grade is written at the start of the product name, both in the shop and online. S means sealed and never opened, A like new, B very good, C good, D acceptable, and E junk sold as is.
