Japanzon Asakusa Store (ジャパンゾン浅草店) sells trading cards as singles — one card at a time, not only sealed product. If you only want one card, or you are hunting for one particular card, that is what the counter is for.

Because these are single cards, the stock changes constantly. We cannot promise that a given card is on the shelf today, which is why it is worth asking rather than guessing.

Looking for Pokemon cards in Asakusa, or a One Piece card

Tell the staff which card you are after and they will check what is in stock for you. If you are looking for Pokemon cards in Asakusa, or for a card from the One Piece Card Game while you are in Tokyo, ask at the counter before you start going through the boxes. It is faster, and not everything is out on display.

You can ask in English or in French. On Wednesdays and Sundays, Chinese and Spanish are spoken too.

Where we are

The shop is a few minutes from Kaminarimon (雷門), between the temple area and Asakusa Station (浅草駅), directly opposite Asakusa Public Hall (浅草公会堂). If you are already walking down Orange Street (オレンジ通り), you are on the right street.

We also buy trading cards over the counter: bring them in, a member of staff will look at them and give you a valuation. Coming in for a valuation alone is fine, and you will need to show ID, as the law requires. Sellers under 18 need the consent of a parent or guardian.
